The Ultra Light titanium knife is the perfect companion tool for any adventure. Made from the same robust Grade 5 titanium used in bicycle frames and in arospace. Grade 5 or 6Ai-4v is a Titanium alloy with incredible mechanical integrity

Titanium does possess some outstanding properties that steel does not. Titanium is virtually unbreakable. It is extremely lightweight with a superior strength to weight ratio, that is better than steel. Titanium is inert and virtually impervious to any corrosive medium. It will never rust, ever. It is non-magnetic and will not cause a static spark. Titanium is extremely tough, durable and hard to work with. These knives will not have the same potential for extreme sharpness as steel although they will just about shave the hair off of your arm.  They will however, out cut and out last the steel edge of any knife that exists.  

The blades are made in collaboration with Smith Levi at Ratking frames who is a wizard when it comes to design and engineering. Each blade is CNC machined one at a time in Washington state.  They are then sent back to Horse where the final edge is put on the blade and a final QC check is done.  Knifes are offered with and optional sheath.  Sheaths come with a belt clip and the spacing for the belt clip attachment point is 2.5” the same as a water bottle mount so they can be mounted on frame or fork if needed.
